Please do not tell us to use IE... we won't!

When I have some spare money, I do try to pay to register the programs I use the most. So I guess that if KeyWallet was time-unlimited shareware, you might get some money out of me that way, but not more than $20

Admittedly, there are several programs that perform similar tasks, such as gator, but we pay for these through the constant irritations and lack of real control associated witht hose other programs.

I would agree with one previous comment that it would be nice to be able to 'print-out' your private list of data to safely put away for that day when Mr Gates' software needs its typical defibrillation.

I have used much software. I believe you have an excellent product, but it isn't user friendly. I know you go to much trouble with offering help, online information, and are just good people all around. This software has great potential.

Just a little more effort to make it more user friendly and you'll be on your way. If this were more user friendly, I believe you could offer it at $ 14.95 and have many takers. Of course, you will have to offer a trial version (30 days). I tried many of the password software programs (using Internet passwords) and found a lot to be desired.

Gator is an excellent password program for Internet passwords. I would keep using it, but the adds and offers are overwhelming unbearable and places me in a position where I would pay for a quality Internet Password Program. I do suggest you make Key Wallet a little more user friendly.

If you desire to contact me. My name is Johnny, my e-mail address: TrustInGodAlways@Juno.com
I will continue to use your program, contact me in several months and I may have some suggestions.
One I know of immediately.

If your operating Gator, it must be completely shut off in order to use your program. If you don't shut it off, only part of the information for your program will appear in the Log In, Pin, Password, etc. This can lead you to think something is wrong with you program, it isn't. Tinkering showed the Gator program must be shut down.

Thanks much, keep up the good work and God bless.
Have a Happy New Year!!

Would I pay for it? Absolutely. In the case of the poll, if you ask people/users if they would pay -- as you can see -- more than half say they would not. And although they state that there are many other *free* password utilities, they are using KeyWallet.

Whether for Love or Money, everyone deserve just compensation for their efforts and talents. Instead of asking politely about "who would pay," leave the current version as Freeware and then mount a major overhaul with the resulting new version as a payment-required program. Whoever doesn't wish to pay for KeyWallet, let them find the other freeware they so quickly speak of.

If you are looking for a truer picture of the actual amount people would pay for KeyWallet, consider breaking your poll into 2 sequential question levels instead of just 1; e.g.:

Question #1) Do you think we should charge for Keywallet?
Question #2) A) If you answered YES to Question #1, which of the following prices is the highest amount you would you be willing to pay for KeyWallet? [here, list various price alternatives] B) If you answered NO to Question #1, which of the following prices is the highest amount you would you be willing to pay for KeyWallet if we started charging for KeyWallet? [here, list various price alternatives]

The fact that a person would prefer KeyWallet to remain free does not necessarily mean that they would not pay for KeyWallet if they could no longer obtain it for free. On the other hand, those who think KeyWallet should remain free would as a group probably not be willing to pay as much for KeyWallet as would the group which approves of charging for KeyWallet.

You need to know not only how much willing buyers are willing to pay, but also how much your reluctant buyers are willing to pay in order to set a price which matches your goals.

Why it should be a donationware: If this program get supported by private companies, this institutions would asked for certain conditions in order to pay for the program to be in the internet or this program would offer to those institutions a sweet reason to deposit their candies in the KeyWallet program, and PC. will be inundated with such candies: unwanted cookies, keyloggers, eyedropping cookies, applts, scripts etc., etc. that would forfit our privacy. Then hijackers, troyans, malicious scripts and all the like internet garvage would dominate your Hard drive. That's why it should be a donationware, period

I appreciate the fact that KeyWallet is free. Thank you. I am always prepared to compensate the creators of useful software. It is both an incentive for their work and a reward for the time, learning, and imagination they put into their accomplishment. I am especially grateful to pay for a product when I know that the information I put into it is not used for purposes beyond my own control, for instance, sale to spammers. I hope this information is useful to you. Again, thank you for sharing your work with me.

Keywallet is the best program of its type I have ever seen, even my husband is capable of using it (although I have to record the keys for him).
I would be prepared to pay up to $20 for it, if this would give the developers the incentive to improve it even further.

You are asking the wrong question. It should be "Would you pay to have more features and/or to have the program to continue to be improved".

OK, that's long winded, but the point is that "I" would pay for KeyWallet IF I knew it would continued to be improved. Right now, I could send you a page FULL of small things that would improve the program. Many of these would be quite simple to add, and would make adding and managing passwords much better.

However, since KeyWallet does NOT seem to be improving, then I am not interested in paying. I fear that at some point I will just have to re-enter all my passwords into a new program - again.

That said, I thank you for creating KeyWallet - it is still a handy little program.

I wouldn't mind donating money for a program like this. It is an incredibly handy and efficient tool when set up right. It has been hard work on the developers side so I think they should something from it. If it was Payware no-one would go near it. But people will see its great features and uses if it is free/donateware and may chip in a few quid for your troubles. The fact that it is donateware would look good to people showing that you are not money hungry commercial developers.

It's really a usefull and great software but I think it will be difficult to ask money because it will remain a little utility not really indispensable.

In addition the really quality of your software will justify donations from ones who can and use it with satisfaction.

For others I think it will be remain free.

If software will became bigger with a lot of other functionnalities, it will be good if you maintain a free limited version (with possible donations) and a "professional" one, not free...

Thonk you really very much for your job.
I hope it will give you personal satsfactions and, why not, some money!
