Setup looks way to complex.
I'll stick with Password Safe.
It's free and from the author of Blowfish.

Nice program. However, I think it lacks some more flexibility. For example, the possibility of storing more info in an entry (i.e., comments).

I haven't actually tried it. It might be easier to use than the demo suggests !

It is nice that you have what can be called a tutorial. There's just something missing in the beginning that would make it smooth and easier to understand, especially the name one assigns a particular key. I feel that many would be immediately turned off simply because it is not well explained. Is this name just for one's own identification? That's not clear to me. If I am stupid, then let me be your model stupid, that's okay. Heaven knows computer geeks need more models for the computer stupid so that better tutorials can be designed, which is a very needed thing.
One more thing. The tutorial goes so fast that it is hard for one's eyes to keep up with. It would, stupid here imagines, be an easy thing to slow it down. What's your hurry anyway, city boys?

Hi everybody!

I don't understand it! We got 6500 downloads in the past 6 days and nobody writes to the forums. Don't you have any questions? If so, why do you vote that KW is difficult?

Ovanes.

P.S. If you think you need a new forum for your comments, sugestions etc., write it here, we will create it.

Great App! I'm finally gonna be able to get rid of Gator (big-time spyware)!!!

Suggestion: Enable scrolling in the key list instead of having to use the arrows to go up and down one line at a time.

I have already had difficulties with it. The second day after installing it I tried to reenter it with the password assigned to me (amd still in my e-mail inbox) and it informs me that it ia an invalid password!

Downloaded Keywallet and set it up with all my passwords, looks great and working well.

A suggestion I would make is the ability to have groupings which could be expanded out (similarly to the ability to expand out each key to show the Username / Password etc under them). This would allow say all email passwords to be grouped, and other similar items to be grouped. The result being that the length of the key list could be reduced. I have about 35 passwords setup and scrolling them in anything other than the windows skin is a little painful.

+ Banking
- Emails
- Yahoo
- Postmark
+ Business
- Personal
- Keywallet
- My 2nd favourite software site

Also found the instructions initially confusing with using the automatic entry. Figured out that you have to drag the crosshair icon onto the first field after a couple of tries. I found setting up manually was easy anyway, and did all mine manually.

Looking forward to deleting Gator. Keywallet is more stable, browser independent and doesn't pop up over the top of the browser all the time - I visit a number of sites that even after you log in have a log in section within the header (generally due to frames) - Gator pops up on every page within these sites - annoying as hell.

May look at designing a skin if i get the time, incorporating a scrollbar - guess this can be done.

Suggest that the comments section by default list the Newest first as those who have already visited previously will always want to see the newest and first time visitors generally would be the same.

It's not bad, but if you have a lot of passwords, it's annoying to have to move them all to find it. Would be much easier if you could just put focus on keywallet, then hit a letter, and it would highlight the first key that began with that letter, no more having to scroll all over the place to attempt to find things.

I like it very much except that there doesn't appear to be a way to generate a list of the data
to use as a back up. If my computer crashes there is no way to access the user names & passwords untill I get Windows working again, with Key Wallet installed.

Key Wallet is SUPREME! The great thing about it is that it is simple to use, does the job and is not Spyware or Adware. Mind you, I have over 40 websites in my KeyWallet, I would like to see in some future version of KeyWallet a way of grouping similar sites together by being able to create my own groups i.e. Banking, Shopping, Memberships etc - apart from that - a useful tool. May I suggest having "PalPal(tm) donate" on your website - so people can donate (as a way of saying thankyou). Lee B.

I Have not had enought time to fully evaluate it but I like the skin properties. I already have a Norton product that duplicates this service, but I like the stand alone, skin, and compact size. Rcat57
